Minimum 5 years but less than 6 years as on 31st March 2026 (Born between 1st April 2020 and 31st March 2021)

Age relaxation: The age relaxation for admission upto 30 days may be granted by the Head of the school in the minimum & upper age limit for these classes.

There will be a draw of lots to select candidates from the General Category.
In the sibling and alumni categories, if there are more applicants than the number of seats available, the candidates will be selected through draw of lots in their respective categories.
No applicant will appear in more than one draw of lots.
In case of twins, if one of them is selected through draw of lots, the other applicant is also considered selected.
Details of the timings and dates for the draw of lots, will be announced at the school’s website (www.rsjms.com) and eligible applicants will be welcome to be present, if they wish. It will not be possible for the school to accommodate every parent at the venue of the draw of lots. The actual conduct of draw of lots will be recorded on video.
The schedule to be followed will be in accordance with the guidelines of the Government.

AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

For admission to classes at the Entry level (Pre-School/Pre-Primary/ Class I), the Registration Form will be uploaded on the school website (www.rsjms.com) on Thursday, 04th December, 2025.

The Form can be filled and submitted online only till Saturday, 27th December, 2025.

Payment of Registration Fee (Rs. 25/-) must be made online after all relevant documents have been attached at the time of submission of the form.

The documents should be properly scanned and uploaded in appropriate format (JPEG/JPG/PDF) only.

The candidates who are applying under twin/triplet categories should choose the general category for the first twin/triplet. While applying for the second twin/triplets the applicant should mention the registration number allotted to the first twin/triplet.

AN INCOMPLETE FORM WITH UNFILLED MANDATORY FIELDS OR ABSENCE OF RELEVANT DOCUMENTS, WILL BE REJECTED AND REGISTRATION CANCELLED.

After submission of duly filled application form, a receipt with a unique Registration Number will be generated for the applicant, which can be downloaded by the parent and saved for record.

WITH APPLICATION FORM:

Self-attested photocopy of the Date of Birth Certificate of the child.
In case of parent/s being alumni, duly signed certificate from the Principal, Modern School, Barakhamba Road/Principal, Modern School, Vasant Vihar.
[Definition of Alumni (Modernite):
a) One who has passed the Board Examination class X and class XII and remained on the rolls of Modern School continuously for not less than 4 years.
b) One who has been on the rolls of Modern School continuously for not less than 8 years.]
In case of a sibling applicant, a duly signed certificate from the school office of RSJMS and Modern School Barakhamba Road.

List of children who have applied under open seats, Friday 09th January, 2026
List of points awarded to Students eligible for admission, Friday 16th January, 2026.
List of students selected for admission, Friday, 23rd January, 2026.
Resolution of queries of parents, if any, regarding allotment of points to their ward in the list can be dropped in the Drop Box placed in the School Office between 24th January, 2026 till 03rd February, 2026.
Admission process will be completed by Thursday, 19th March, 2026.

All the above is subject to any change necessitated by the Government or Court Order.

The admission process for EWS/DG category candidates/Children with Disability as defined in RPWD Act, 2016 (under section 12(i)(c) of RTE Act, 2009) shall be carried out as per the guidelines issued by the Government.
